Vernarch is a combination of the words vernacular and architecture. Vernacular architecture is a term used to categorise architectural design which uses locally available resources & traditions to address local building and design needs. Vernacular architecture tends to evolve over time to reflect the environmental, cultural & historical context in which it exists. Some common features of Vernacular Architecture are traditionally established building types & forms. It's important features also include responsiveness to the environment, climate, social & communal use. Usage of local materials & functionality were more focused upon than beauty.
